About
Since the company was founded in 1986, AVS has concentrated on customised power units. In the field of mobile power sets, AVS has become the market and technology leader. This also includes floodlight generators with special lighting features. The drive units for all types of construction machinery excel thanks to a maximum of individuality in the fields of construction and technology. Specially hardened gensets for the Armed Forces, the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), the Federal Police, and fire brigades demonstrate our high quality standards. Since 2007, our third pillar has been the development and production of combined heat and power units for bio-, natural and sewage gas. Service, maintenance, repairs and further education round off what we have to offer.
Providing energy together!
The mainstay of our success are our 120 employees, who at two locations in Germany make sure that electricity and light are available everywhere off-grid. Many of our employees have been with us for many years, some of them even right from the start. Of this we are especially proud.

Headquarter in Ehingen-Stetten
Our story began in Ehingen-Stetten in the year 1986. Here, all gensets and CHPs are designed, manufactured and tested before being delivered to our customers throughout Europe. Any repairs or maintenance work which cannot be carried out at the premises can be processed here. Since our launch, our headquarters has constantly been changing and expanding, and is the mainstay of our business.
Service and Sales branch Guxhagen (Kassel)
Our Service and Sales branch in Guxhagen started off in 2013 with four employees. Today, our team of sixteen includes service technicians, sales representatives and office staff. Here, we carry out repairs, maintenance and modification of power generating systems in the North of Germany, and our service technicians’ local service network serves the whole of Germany.
